Late summer offers - discover top deals of the day

Let us take a look at what carriers world wide have to offer these late summer days. We will begin with two big carriers which pride themselves on a great number of seats on sale.
We are talking about SAS and GermanWings. SAS should be of particular interest for those who do not live far away from the Norwegian capitol. Are you willing to fly from Oslo, you can choose from quite a number of destinations all over Europe. Prices start at NOK 315 which is a decent price level. Another “wholesale promotion” comes from GermanWings which in its turn claims to have 2 million seats. Now, we have not counted every single seat but surely enough they have plenty of seats on sale and the choice of destinations is pretty wide as well – one can find both German cites and some favourite European spots such as Rome or London there. As for the fares, they start low – from €19.99
Further, the ongoing promotion from Transavia deserves attention all the more so because it is valid only for a couple of days more. Let us recapitulate for those who have missed out on it – for every day this carrier reveals a new destination where one can fly at low prices. The keywords are: all-inclusive, round-trip and top cities. The only one reservation we could have is that the promotion comprises just a few ports of origin – mainly Copenhagen and Amsterdam. On the other hand, these are pretty centrally situated airports.
The low-budget pirat – Ryanair has something to offer as well. This time round these are introductory fares starting from £17.99. If routes such as London – Porto or London – Bologna cause your excitement, then you have something to look forward to.
Now for something different – a carrier from the other side of the big water. The American Frontier Airlines announced its West Coast Sale. The lowest fares start at $74 but as almost always is the case with American carriers, the fares are exclusive of taxes and fees. Anyone interested in one of the 19 routes on sale should grab this opportunity before August 20, 2010.
And finally for some more exotic latitudes – Singapore Airlines kicked off a jolly nice promotion with all-inclusive fares to fabulous cities ranging from Bangkok to London and from Hong Kong to Auckland just to give you a flavour of it. The lowest fare here is Sonderborg (SGD) 218 for a flight to Kuala Lumpur International (KUL). Needless to say the port of departure is Singapore.
We hope you found it interesting deal hunters.
