Jet Airways promotes Hyderabad as a mini hub in South India
In a recent development, Jet Airways has added 15 new flights from Hyderabad connecting major south Indian cities. Hyderabad being a major South Indian city, with ever improving tourist and business traffic, this is a welcome initiative to improve connectivity with major cities including Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada, Jaipur, Nagpur, Bhopal and Indore.
This is in effect from Sunday, March 27, 2011 as a part of Jet’s summer schedule. This would transform Hyderabad into a mini hub in Southern India, which already connects 47 domestic and 24 international destinations across the globe. Also, additional frequencies to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Visakhapatnam and Chennai would be part of this summer schedule.
Jet Airways has decided to connect more destinations in Central and Northern India with its fleet of Boeing 737 and ATR 72 aircraft, thereby providing a same day connection with the cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
