Today we will take a look at the baggage policy of the founding member of Oneworld Alliance and the flag carrier of Hong Kong – Cathay Pacific Airways.
Cathay Pacific: carry-on baggage
It is as simple as it gets: when flying in Economy, you are allowed to bring one item of cabin baggage not exceeding 56×36×23cm (or 22×14×9 in) including wheels, handles and side pockets and weighing up to 7kg (or 15lbs).
Apart from the above-mentioned, you may carry onto the plane one of the following items: a briefcase, a small handbag, a small backpack or a laptop bag.
Travellers requiring assistive devices may carry onboard such items free of charge (no limitations as far as US flights are concerned. Otherwise one device & two pieces of mobility aids)

The free baggage allowance differs depending on the route with flights to Americas belonging to a separate category.
