With effect from today, Air India has introduced mobile check-in to enable its passengers check-in to the flights using their mobile phones rather than standing in the long queue for the check-in.

The new facility will enable passengers to check-in for their flights from their web-enabled mobile hand sets by accessing URL flyai.mobi and follow the sequence-wise instructions as given on the mobile screen.

Infact, this is one of its initiatives in the long-term planning of creating a new standard of customer service as decided by the Air India board this year. This will ease the check-in process at 6 major airports in India including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata.
